Could Be Anyone

Could Be Anyone

I have been absent from my world around me lately …. when I decided to reactivate my personal Facebook page to share some pictures on this blog. The most unexpected thing happened, a friend from Grapeview, posted a picture of me with her family when I was young. How often do we see ourselves in other places besides our own photo albums and this overwhelming sense of connection for you and all of us seemed as one…..because if I didn’t tell you, and if she didn’t tell me, I might not have looked at this picture closely in the small thumbnail, realizing I looked like I was with my family, yet I am not.

I am so glad to have touched you so much! That was, honestly, not my expected response but very much appreciated! Life is good. 😀 I love you!

Well, I think I was wrong when I said I wasn’t with my family. Sometimes we forget how those we grew up with, or even spent a significant moment in time, even if it was just brief, feel as if we have known them from the beginning of time, the connection is just so strong. I noticed something about memories: relays our experiences that were learning opportunities. The reason why we discuss our memories when we see each other, is because I have noticed, we often remember different stories and a few common ones. I was contemplating, why is that? I realized, the story I remembered, was significant to my life and taught me something. The story you remembered, was for your growth, and I didn’t even realize how profound the time was in your eyes. I once heard on the Sopranos, Tony to Paulie, “Remember When is the lowest form of conversation.” I think that’s true if you do it every single day, as if your life now has no merit, but every once in awhile, it’s nice to be reminded of times long ago, and far away, but when we see each other, it’s like no time has passed at all…..only the look of age.

      Hi Matt,
I begin my blogs with the dictionary & thesaurus. I start simple. I always assume I do not understand the words I choose to use so I look them up first. For instance, to respond to you, I looked up this:
      a⋅maze  /əˈmeɪz/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [uh-meyz] Show IPA verb, a⋅mazed, a⋅maz⋅ing, noun
–verb (used with object) 1. to overwhelm with surprise or sudden wonder; astonish greatly.
      2. Obsolete. to bewilder; perplex.

Which definition are you referring to…I assumed it was as a verb. If I had to guess, I would say it is definition #2.

You know you inspired me to work harder, and I am very happy to hear your opinion of the quality of the work. I do not wish to waste anyone’s time.

Heather, I love that picture and it reminds me how very close we were. We were best friends and worst enemies. We were, in fact, sisters of sorts. We didn’t have the same parents, but we didn’t need to.

Up until now, I have not been a blogger. This is my first time on a site like this. However, I think it’s great that you are doing this. It’s wonderful to see what’s going on with you and how you are feeling at any given time.

Keep up the good work. Love you. J

      Jodi,
I’m sorry I neglected to support you sooner. If you don’t want to write your own blog, than feel free to contribute here with your own credit and words. BTW …. Julie’s little sister (as we would refer to her as) is now writing here…. we must all connect…. I miss you.
