Bellingham | Collaborative Social Media Marketing!
I love teaching this course! Here is this weeks assignments as I posted in the comment section:
I think one of the most interesting things about LinkedIN is to watch who is reviewing your resume. Everyone should create an account on LinkedIN which is pretty much a social network professional platform for your resume and work life, if you do not already have one. If you do have one, find me and network with me to become connected. You can say you know me via TKWeb, Living Documents or as a friend. I also want everyone to request recommendations from people you know and write a recommendation for people you know. If you are concerned about doing this, I will write one in class. Join the Groups ” The Blog Zone – A community for bloggers”, ” UnitingCreatives” and “Social Media for the Blogger”. If you feel up to it, create a discussion or answer a discussion that is going on. Remember when you post, to put time, energy and thought into your discussion. Pretend you are trying to get an A on a school paper. These assignments will all be discussed on Friday. What we are doing is targeting our audience. Who do we want to attract to our resume? Think about that – do we want investor types to check out our resumes, or collaborators, artists, event coordinators or just become known in the community for the work we are doing and proud of. That is the power of LinkedIN.
