Peace in Senegal radio interview

July 23, 2010

On July 19, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. E.S.T, President of the New Democratic Alliance was interviewed by host Marcia Johnson of “Inspired By YOU” – Planting the Seeds4Peace airing on Blog Talk Radio. The interview began by the President explaining Senegal’s place with the Senegalese, in Africa and in the world. He spoke about its beauty and for his love and dedication to the people. The President was passionate about the rights of women and children. He reached out to the international community to ask for support in shinning a light on the immediate need to expose the real happenings in the Senegalese Government. He discussed the value added resources of the people, their potential and the possibilities. He explained that the country was banned from electricity because the government is not paying their bills and that they only were able to have their electricity on from 2 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. every day. That the generous American taxpayers are having their funds diverted to corrupted politics and that life did not have to be that way. Therefore, he was going on a tour to reach out to his constituents and French patriots in the hopes that others will take a stand with him in human rights and democracy. He discussed the strengths of the people, and removing the children from the street who had pots placed in their hands to beg for money, because children must only be in school. This child slavery has to end. The people of Senegal need your support and Allah willing, President, Samba Kara Ndiaye will be in Senegal in 2012.
